If
you do not pass the AACCA RN-Coder®
examination the first time:
-
If
you do not score at least 70% on each of the 4 parts of the RN-Coder®
examination, you will be required to take the exam again. Please
fax your score report to the AACCA at: 909-752-0508 for
authentication. In 3-4 days, after the AACCA has downloaded your test
results from our testing facilities, you will receive a formal Score Report
letter. This letter will include a "Re-Take Request"
form attached. You may also fax that form to the AACCA at the above
number. Upon receiving your "Re-Take Request", we will issue
a NEW Authorization to Test (ATT) letter, with a NEW eligibility date.
You have 6 months from the date of the SECOND ATT letter in which to
schedule with our testing centers to re-take the examination.
-
The
AACCA will send you a AACCA Re-Examination Notice, which you will have
to present to our testing facilities.
-
This
information will appear in your AACCA eligibility file for one year.
This is for the accessibility of our testing facilities.

Please Note: "The 2006 CPT, ICD9, and HCPCS coding manuals are authorized for RN-Coder and
CMC testing thru March 31, 2007. On April 1, 2007, the certification
exams will be updated to the 2007 coding manuals. It is highly
recommended that the 2007 coding manuals be used on all AACCA
certification exams taken on or after April 1, 2007."
