The American Association of Clinical Coders and Auditors (AACCA) is the only national organization dedicated to the advancement of clinical coders and auditors for the healthcare industry. AACCA’s mission is to promote correct documentation and coding of all medical and surgical services, as well as professional and technical components of these services, enhance compliance with Medicare and HIPAA regulations, enhance revenue from third-party payers and increase productivity in healthcare facilities and medical groups thru accredited online certification examinations, and promotion of a standardized curriculum to train clinical coders and auditors by:
