To help a candidate prepare for the RN-Coder®, PA-Coder®, PT-Coder®, or Certified Clinical Coder® or RN-Auditor® exam, the AACCA has developed Candidate Study Guides. These allow a candidate to prepare and “pre-test” before sitting for the AACCA national certification exams. In each section of a AACCA Study Guide, correct coding principles, as well as Medicare & HIPAA compliance, are followed by coding scenarios related to that section. The AACCA Candidate Study Guides are not an introduction to coding, but a review of coding concepts. Below is a description of the RN-Coder® Candidate Study Guide.  Only members in good standing of AACCA are eligible to take the AACCA certification examinations. Other requirements may apply.
